Allen is great. He explains and demonstrates well. I struggled because I must not have an advance Excel program, and I didn’t realize how much of a struggle it would be w/o it. I have Microsoft Office 365 (probably an old version) and by the time I got to the Advanced level, I couldn’t even complete some of the Pivot table and chart exercises. From what i can see, I don’t have a 1/4 of the options Allen has in his Excel ribbon- especially for the Pivot table/charts. Unfortunately, I could not complete some of the exercises or at least parts of them. And sadly, I could not figure out how to upgrade w/o spending money on a new Excel program. Ironically, that’s why I did this course- to upgrade my skills to make more money. Anyway, there are solution videos offered, but only for some of the exercises. I think there should be one for each and every exercise (or at least a screenshot for some) to make sure we completed them correctly. Otherwise, you can hope you did them correctly. You can ask questions and get an answer but if you’re eager to move on, you have to wait for a response. There is also confusion with the prac ex…there was a solutions video offered for one, but it was not even close the exercise we were assigned to work on. It would also be a nice option to have a class using Excel MO 365, so we can learn I guess what would be a modified version. I recommend the course if you have a good or upgraded Excel program, but if you’re like me and stuck with the lame version, you should be able to get through the beginner and intermediate w/o issue, but the Advanced- you’ll struggle and not find a resource here to help you. Finally, I did learn a lot, but I’m a finisher, and not being able to finish the exercises was a hard pill for me to swallow. I am about to take the final exam for the Adv level, but already feel it’s not been earned, since I couldn’t complete the exercises. 🙁
